 The bison's main food is grass.  In the winter, bison move in the snow looking for grass. They can move at speeds of up to 35 mph.   Shoulder height in the species can range from 152 to 186 cm . Most times they weigh  from700-2,200 lb. The heaviest bison ever recorded weighed 2,800 pounds.  Bison live 15 to 25 years .




                    Raccoon

The raccoon is a  mammal that lives to North America. It  body length is 40 to 70 cm and a body weighies  8 to 20 lb.  Their top speed over short distances is 10 to 15 mph.  The raccoon is usually nocturnal and is omnivorous,  The raccoons are usually nocturnal and are omnivorous, with a diet of Wild berries, nuts and acorns make up a large portion of their plant diet. Raccoons also eat small animals such as mice, baby birds and bird eggs, frogs, crayfish, crabs, fish and some snakes.

                                      Prairie dogs

Prairie dogs are rodents that live to the grasslands of North America, on average, the rodents will grow to be between 12–16 in long,  and weights1–3 lb. Prairie dogs are herbivorous, because they do eat some insects. They feed primarily on grasses and, in the fall, broadleaf forbs. They also eat roots, seeds, fruit and buds. Grasses of various species are eaten. Prairie dogs eat rabbit basin, tumbleweeds, dandelions, saltbush and cacti.
